Deep in the heart of Vancouver’s Gastown, in SFU’s VentureLab building, a group of researchers and AI enthusiasts known as Mind, AI, and Consciousness (MAC) meet monthly to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and theories of human consciousness. Each session generates vivid dialogue and rich connection, but many of these ideas were getting lost over time. MAC needed a way to share group knowledge and connect on a regular basis with an AI knowledge management system that supports their mission.

The Challenge: Capturing Knowledge Clearly

MAC shared deep insights, but had no clear way to connect the pieces into their larger mosaic of knowledge. Transcripts, readings, and insights lived in scattered formats, making it difficult to revisit ideas or build cumulative understanding.
